Botswana Life Insurance Limited marked yet another milestone on the 18th of February 2016 at the Phakalane Resort, as they launched the Achievers Club. The Botswana Life Achievers Club is an exclusive club for the companies’ elite agents and brokers who have contributed immensely to Botswana Life through their outstanding sales performance.
The theme for the spectacular event was a night with the stars under the stars and was attended by renowned motivational speaker Vusi Thembakwayo, Botswana Life executive and management teams, sales agents from Botswana Life and broker agencies and the media.
When giving his Welcome remarks, Head of Individual Life Department at Botswana Life Mr. Moletlanyi Tshosa highlighted that Botswana Life through the extensive presence of its agents has formed an undeniable presence in Botswana as the Life Insurer of choice. The CEO of Botswana Life Mrs. Catherine Lesetedi- Letegele when giving her keynote address stated that sales representatives – both Botswana Life’s Direct Sales Agents as well as Broker Agents are the lifeblood of the organization and brand ambassadors. “Tonight we celebrate your unceasing dedication, which has over the years propelled Botswana life to achieve 80% market share of the local Life Insurance industry. It is your commitment that has enabled us to increase the financial security of more than two hundred thousand policyholders and pay out more than P1.2 billion in claims in 2014 alone and claims of P5 billion over the past 5 years.”
Mr. Vusi Thembekwayo the renowned motivational and international speaker, as he congratulated the top achievers, also motivated the company as a whole to continue working together and doing exceptionally well in all their various departments, to make sure that Botswana Life reaches its highest pinnacle of success. The top achievers were awarded with certificates and exclusive Achievers Club blazers, only designed for members of the club and all-expenses paid trip to the Sanlam Jazz Festival in Cape Town.
The top six (6) achievers got to walk away with more as they were awarded with tablets and will be treated to an all-expenses paid trip to Dubai (4 nights). The night was serenaded with the soulful sounds of Mpho Sebina as the stars danced the night away.
