This competition is a Swipe and Win campaign organised by Botswana Life Insurance Limited. By entering the competition, the customer is agreeing to participate in good faith in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Below are the competition terms and conditions:
- To qualify to enter the Competition you must have an active Life Rewards card and policy with Botswana Life.
- Participants must reside in the Republic of Botswana and be over 18 years old.
- Employees of BIHL group and the underwriting bank Access Bank Botswana or any company involved in the Competition or, if relevant, any advertising agency connected with us, or any such person’s subsidiary or associated companies, agents or members of their families or households, are not eligible to enter the Competition. We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
- The Prizes are non-transferable and there will be no cash alternatives.
- The rules and regulations of the competition may be accessed on our Facebook page and from MAMELLO NKWE at Botswana Life in Fairground Office Park in Gaborone
- Winners of the Prizes will be contacted telephonically by the Sponsor, or its agent and the names of the winners will be displayed on the Sponsor’s website and/or media (print, broadcast, social media)
- These terms and conditions together with any specific rules set out in Competition Notices (as defined below) are the Competition Term (“Terms”), together to be defined as the “Competition”, unless otherwise expressly stated. By entering a Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.
- All information relating to this Competition and any promotional material will form part of the terms and conditions of entry.
- If Botswana Life would like to cancel or amend the competition in any way, they will seek approval from the Authority first. Once done the outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of Botswana Life, whose decision is final, and no negotiations and/or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
- Customers who swipe with the Life Rewards card would be eligible to enter the competition.
Swipe a minimum of 4 transactions per month per entry, therefore, the more you swipe, the greater your chances of winning. - Kamogelo Nnoi (Internal Auditor) Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited will oversee the process of the draw and ensure that it is fair.
- Winners will be drawn from an online randomizer by our Internal Compliance and Legal Team with Finance based in Gaborone. If you win a prize, you will be requested to consent to the publication of your name, image, and the use of your details and photographs by Botswana Life in marketing material and for marketing activities, for which no fee will be payable to you. You are entitled to decline such consent.
- Winners of the prizes will be contacted telephonically by the Sponsor, or its agent and the names of the winners will be displayed on the Sponsor’s website and/or media (print, broadcast, social media)
- Prizes to be won are 4 Samsung 65’cu7000 worth P10 440 each, 2 Samsung Galaxy A14 smart phones worth P3190 each, 2 Acer A315 Coehorn laptops worth P5020 each and 10 trolley dashes worth P3500 each.
- Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above terms and conditions will result in the immediate disqualification of the participant or entrant.
- By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Approval for the promotion has been sought from the Gambling Authority and any changes shall be communicated to the Authority.
