Frank Mwinji Dalo joined Botswana Life as the Head of Actuary in May 2023. A seasoned senior executive with over 15 years of extensive experience in Actuarial Insurance Management, Frank began his career as an Actuarial Analyst trainee at Royal London Mutual Insurance in the United Kingdom. He subsequently spent 6 years as an Actuarial Trainee at Standard Life Assurance Limited before joining Botswana Life as an Actuarial Manager - Risk Management and was appointed as Botswana Life’s Head of Actuarial. Frank held the position of Actuarial Manager (Consulting) at Deloitte MCS in London before coming to Botswana Life for the Head of Actuary role.
Frank holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Malawi and a Master of Science Degree in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. He has a UK Life Insurance Actuarial Practice Certificate and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries UK. Frank has also completed the University of Stellenbosch’s Senior Management Development Programme (SMDP).
