Board Member
The Board of Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Giles Waugh as a member of the Group Audit & Risk Committee effective 16 January 2025. . He is also joining the Board of Botswana Life Insurance Limited as an independent non-executive director.
Mr. Waugh has over 43 years of professional experience and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow member of Institute of Actuaries and also a Fellow member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. Mr. Waugh is technically proficient in all aspects of Insurance Actuarial work, particularly financial reporting, assessment of companies for sale and restructuring purposes as well as new licence applications.
